ABOUT US
The Board Boy is a company that offers customized furniture for homes
and offices. Since our inception, we have delivered exceptional products. Some of
our products include frames, coasters, paperweights, tabletops, charcuterie boards,
and more. Our coloring process is based on epoxy resin mixed with pigments and varnishes. We specialize in preserving and highlighting the fine details of each hand picked slab. Each of our finishes enhance the natural beauty of the wood and epoxy combination.
Kiyan Khaleeli- The Founder
The Board Boy was founded by Kiyan Khaleeli, an innovative entrepreneur who loves to create customized designs. He founded his business in middle school and is currently a student at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. His company creates one-of-a-kind river charcuterie boards using meticulously selected wood slabs and
epoxy. He started woodworking as a pastime in his grandmother's garage. Later, he became a student in the Young Entrepreneur Academy program. He learned the ropes of running a business and decided to start his own business. He won first place at the local YEA Competition, as well as the Spirit of Entrepreneurship Award.
The first place win qualified him to move on to the national competition, where he received the Peoples Choice Award.
